How to Apply (Admission Procedure)
Admission is open for all the management programmes for the academic year 2010-11.
1. Application form can be obtained from us by paying Rs. 200/- in cash or by sending a DD of Rs 200/-- drawn in favour of ‘The Director, DLI, BIMM, Pune’ payable at Pune.
2. The application form can also be downloaded from our website www.bimmdistance.com. A demand draft of Rs. 200/- drawn in favour of ‘The Director, DLI, BIMM, Pune’ payable at Pune should be attached along with the printed application form, downloaded from our website.
3. Applicants shall submit the filled in form along with the requisite attested copies of documents / certificates.
4. Letter of admission will be issued by the DLI, BIMM after ascertaining the eligibility from various points of view.
Eligibility
Eligibility Criteria for Admission To Three Years Post Graduate Diploma Programmes
1. The eligibility criteria for all the programmes laid down by the Statutory Authority is as follows:-
a.Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
And
b. Qualifying marks in the Entrance examination conducted by the university or any other. national/ state level entrance exam for Management Programmes such as CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ ATMA/ CET etc.
2. However, if you have completed your graduation and have appeared in any of the Management Entrance examination conducted by the university or any other national/ state level entrance exam such as CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ ATMA/ CET etc and the results are awaited can also apply
Course Duration
The course duration of our Post Graduate Diploma Programmes is three years, from the date of commencement of the course.
However, if any student is unable to complete his course with in three years, then he would be required to re-register for the same by paying a fee of Rs. 1000/- for left over subjects.
However, the maximum permissible duration of any management programme is 8 (eight) years. Thereafter, the students have to take ‘fresh admission’ for completion of the left over portion of the course(s) but they will not be required to clear the Entrance Test again.
Programme Fees
Fee Structure
♦ Programme Fee: Rs. 20,000/- shall be the fee for the entire programme, payable in THREE installments:
a. 1st installment of Rs.10, 000/- is required to be remitted at the time of admission.
b. 2nd installment of Rs. 5,000/- after one year from the date of admission.
c. 3rd installment of Rs.5, 000/- after two years from the date of admission.
♦ Registration Fee: A Registration Fee of Rs. 800/- is to be remitted with the First Installment for all the courses.
♦ Examination Fee: Students are required to pay Examination Fee @ Rs.150/- per course either in Cash or in DD before the commencement of each Term-end Examination.
♦ Personal Contact Programme Fee: The fees for PCPs shall be Rs. 250/- per course.
♦ Late Fee:
Students who fail to pay any kind of fee with in the stipulated period shall be liable to pay late fee as
under:-
| i. Late up to 30 days |
5% of the stipulated fee |
| ii.Late up to 60 days |
10% of the stipulated fee |
| iii. Late up to 90 days |
50% of the stipulated fee |
| iv. Late beyond 90 days |
20% of the stipulated fee |
♦ Fee in respect of all the programmes is required to be remitted through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘The Director, DLI, BIMM’, payable at Pune.
Change of Specialization
In case you want to change the specialization, you can do so within six months from the date of your Admission and such a change is subject to availability of seats in that particular specialization
Cancellation / Withdrawal From Course
1. Cancellation or withdrawal from the course can only take place within a period of 30 days from the date of admission.
2. Once a student has been registered with the institute and the Registration Number has been allotted, then as a rule, no refund of fee of any kind shall be made to the student under normal circumstances and
deviation if any shall only be decided by the management committee.
